The final active-duty US Navy airborne patrol squadron, VP-40 “Fighting Marlins”, has completed its transition from the Lockheed P-3C Orion to the Boeing P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft. Transition was completed on May 14, the U.S. Navy announced.
